Part 2 – What is radon and how can you limit concentrations within the homes you build or renovate:

  • What is Radon gas and where is it found
  • Radon and the building code and changes on the horizon
  • Overview and application of the 3 levels of radon mitigation:
    • Level 1 – Gas permeable layer, soil gas collector, Radon gas barrier and Radon rough-in pipe
    • Level 2 – addition of a passive stack
    • Level 3 – addition of a Radon fan
